Welcome to Heathrow

Just arrived at Heathrow from a 2 hour delayed flight out of Vancouver and thanx to an alleged baggage handling device that impacted a panel on the spacious Boeing 777, which we were all seated and awaiting push off!

My first flight on the 777 and it was a spacious and quiet cabin and enjoyed more movies than I would normally watch in 6 months at home...certainly couldn't sleep and the cabin air temp was lower than most refrigerators, so grateful for my choice of long sleeves and blankets were very popular!

Sadly the delay caused missed connections thru Munich and to Rome...so now it's a jammed Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt and onward to Rome after midnight...looking forward to navigating the Termini train system from the Rome airport to my central Rome hotel!

With no sleep and my scheduled tour of the Basilica later that morning, I'm thinking that good Rome cappuccino is gonna be breakfast! 

Yeah we are now boarding for Frankfurt...stand by!
