I love deadlines...I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by!! :-)
Without fail a planned trip seems to enlarge and bring out the procrastination behaviour within me as knowing in advance the many To Do items and as they populate the mad scramble intensifies and exponentially right up to the moment you arrive at airport security and pray you haven't forgotten too many things behind?
The longer the flight the more time you have to take inventory in your mind of all the what-ifs and hope so's!
Good thing we are so adaptable and even when stuff is kinda missed and messed...It just seems to always work out and often real great things happen when spontaneityand creativity by necessity is in the drivers seat?
So as I sell myself on this concept over and over and my 5 week packing plan hasn't even begun...it is just another reminder that sleep is over rated and my journey time of 18 hrs with layovers, along with my new travel pillow, should afford me some shut eye, and before my first full day of touring, and it starts in Rome?
